Covid-19; Okyeame Kwame Pleads With The President Of Ghana To support The Creative Industry.

Multiple award winning recording artist, Okyeame Kwame calls on the president of the 4th republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to support the creative arts industry in this trying times of Covid-19.

In an interview with Giovani Caleb host of the 3fm Drive pleaded with the presidency to come the aid of creative art persons in this hard times of Covid-19.Citing an example of what’s been done in Kenya, Okyeame Kwame appealed to the president to provide incentives for the creative body. He also indicated that if support could be given to IT persons, content creators and the creative industry a strong synergy will be built in providing rich content to ease the fatigue of arts lovers.

“However, I like the national consciousness over corona virus and appreciate the way the President is handling the pandemic in Ghana, he didn’t make it too scientific but added the social and economic angle to it” the made in Ghana ambassador added.

Okyeame Kwame in the interview also hinted listeners of his newly made app “Lalafio” (Little Music) set to be launched on Friday 8th May 2020.

The app, he describe as a place where music lovers could subscribe and listen to live music from their top musicians from all genre whilst at home for a minimum fee. Serving the purpose of entertainment and also using the medium in supporting creatives financially.

“It’s open to all artistes and the patch bay band is ready to play for them at a minimum fee as well” he stressed on.
