The dynamic songstress who hails from the northern part of Ghana Funsi, Wiyaala in an exclusive interview with Giovani Caleb on the 3fm Drive monitored by  disclosed it took her two solid years to raise money to enable her join Television Music Reality show Stars Of the Future.

Rendering an account of her musical journey , the multiple award winning recording artist mentioned following the reality show each year back home. With her quest and hunger for success, she begun backing other musicians in her hometown for a fee , she went round informing every single sound engineer about her backing vocalist job.
“I saved money from Backing other musicians, I did that for a year and half, then my mother supported me with the rest of the money”, she stressed on.

The lioness of Africa , as many know her disclosed there’s a lot that goes into the process of becoming a star, arguing young ones of today to support their parents , engaging themselves in farm work and other dignified jobs whiles waiting for the opportunity to shine.

Touring the world with her music , Wiyaala is currently back home for few weeks and she will be honored on Friday by the Africa Professionals Awards secretariat for her contribution towards girl child development in her community and Promoting Authentic African Music to the world.
